THE ANIMAL KINGDOM
Animals are multicellular, heterotrophic eukaryotes with tissues that develop from embryonic germ layers. Unlike plants and fungi, animals ingest their food. Also animal bodies are not structurally supported by a cell wall. Instead animals have muscle are nerve cells used for movements. There are over 1.3 million species of animals!
